ADDS 4775 - Ethical and Professional Issues in Addiction Practices

Examines principles, ethics, legal issues and professionalism in the addiction field and introduce students to professional readiness skills. Focuses on the importance of self-awareness, obligations to ethical and behavioral standards in helping relationships, and the application to practice of prior course content throughout the major. Also explores the history of the addiction profession and provide guidance for career readiness.
