Hours required and general/college requirements
A minimum of 120 semester hours, of which 42 hours must be advanced, and fulfillment of degree requirements for the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree as specified in the “University Core Curriculum ” in the Academics section of this catalog and the College of Information requirements. Occupational specialization
36 hours may be completed in an applied technology program at a community college or in occupational training and development courses at the university level. Students should contact an advisor in the applied technology and performance improvement program to determine the 36 semester hours of course work needed to complete the occupational specialization section of the degree audit. Professional development
42 semester hours of 3000- and 4000-level courses from within the professional development section of the degree audit (to be determined in consultation with an advisor), which must include the following 27 semester hours: Minor
