MGMT 4130 - People Analytics and Information Systems

Designed to help equip students to excel in an increasingly data-driven HRM profession by providing them with foundational knowledge and skills in the appropriate and ethical use of data and HRIS (Human Resource Information System). Focuses on concepts and issues associated with the management, analysis, and ethics around data. Provides strategies that determine the need for, implementation of, and assessment of an HRIS to support informed decision making in HR. Integrates a conceptual foundation of key HR areas including planning, talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, and reward systems with relevant data analysis and dissemination approaches to support data-driven decision making in these areas.
